How do I enroll?  Complete the contact form, email, phone or visit us.

We feel it is important to come and visit us and make sure we are the right fit for you and your child. It is important you feel comfortable leaving your child at the preschool you choose.

Our Physical Environment:

The centre offers a large covered sandpit and outdoor play area, where the children can engage in challenging physical activity, construction, water and messy play while caring for their environment. Inside is bright, light, warm and spacious offering areas for the children to independently be creative as they take the lead in their play.  The children’s learning is visible through documentation on the walls at their level so learning can be revisited and their voice heard.

Transition to School:

It is important to us your child transitions smoothly to school. To help with this we work to develop key skills and dispositions your child will need. We work alongside our local school so the routine and beginning skills taught are familiar to them when they join. Our transition to school programme is led by a teacher who is Primary and Early Childhood trained.

Individual Progress Meetings:

It is important to establish and maintain a strong connection between home and preschool. Twice a year we invite you to discuss your child formally (February and September). We use this information to create a learning plan specific for your child and the learning goals that you and their group teacher agree on. The learning plans are updated and learning stories are written to document their learning journey. If your child requires extra support, we will arrange a meeting between your family, the team leader and any appropriate agencies so we can discuss and action how best to support your child’s needs. You may request a meeting at any time.

Communication with Our Families:

At Our Family Early Learning, one of our core values is communication – between our team, between the children and team, and between you and our team. We aim to keep the lines of communication open at all times so that you are aware of how your child is doing.  We encourage regular discussions with our team or management so we can continue to provide a high-quality service to you and your child. Other ways we keep the communication lines open is through the daily noticeboard, parent information area, monthly newsletters, parent events and meetings, emailing and text messaging. Storypark and our closed Facebook group. We love it when you share stories from home too.
